Itemizing and need to give to charity but not sure which ones yet? Consider a donor advised fund. Donor advised funds serve as a philanthropic checkbook for donors who wish to give to a variety of organizations or causes over the year.
Worried about paying capital gains on appreciated assets and want to support something you care about? Whether securities or property, consider giving it to the Foundation to start a donor advised fund or start a scholarship fund now. We stand ready to accept transfers until the end of business December 31, 2018.
